Safety
The safety of the dog has always first priorety. Learning to throw correct
under different kinds of weather, prevents injurries for your dog.
Make sure you always start in a straight line, so your dog has to start behind te frisbee.
Always begin with rollers, if you have a puppy. When you've learned how to throw a frisbee and
the dog has learned how to catch a frisbee, you can try to let the dog catch the frisbee in the air.
The jumps higher then the length of the body of the dog, raise the chance of injurries of
muscle's, tendon's and bones.
Always throw on a flat and soft underground like grass, so don't throw on the streets with you dog.
Don't let the dog eat or drink before a training or match.
Before you start a training or a match always have a warming-up with the dog
and a cooling-down after the training or match. Let the dog always breath normal
before he get something todrink. When the wether is verry hot (> 20 c)the tempreture of the dog
can quickly rise and the dog can get overheated, so it's better to have a short training and not to intersive.
If the field is wet, slippery or frozen, then it's better to skip the training or match.
It's better to train a couple of days a week a short time, than once a week for a couple of ours.
Dogfrisbee is a fantastic sport, and when played and traint the right way
the pleasure and fun for you and your dog can go on and on for years.
