Who are we
We are Lette de Bruine and Peter van Halderen
and we are married from 02-2006.
The love for Dogs (and other animals) came to
me
(Lette) on an early age. From the moment i was a little girl
I was crazy for animals and especially crazy
for dogs.
At 1996 i got my first own dog with the name
Bobby. With him i starded training for the first time.
At the time i was still at school learning
for veternarian assistent.
1999 i was living together with Peter and had
to leave him with my parents. At 2001
Socks came in the picture and also the love
for the Border Collie. At 2003 i've seen
the litter with Tess, it was love on first
sight. 2004 came Yana and
Dani with us and we had 4 dogs in the house.
At 2005 we decided to try to breed a litter
with Tess and in 2006 it finally was the time for it.
She had a litter of eight puppy's and one of
them was Ginger who is still with us today.
Around that time I was starting to discover
the frisbee sport and loved it all the way. After training for a year
I pulled Peter over to try the sport and to
play the Distance/Accuracy.
He is now a Frisbee maniac, and we even went
to the European Championship at Poland with some
friends of ours who play Frisbee with there
dog also. At Poland the idea has been born to set up our own Dog-Frisbee
Team.
From last month it became official, and Dog-Frisbee
Team The Flying Freaks was born.
Hopefully in 2008 our newest Frisbee-champ
and the second generation of From Lets Borders will be born,
because Ginger will have a litter in Januari.
By then we are starting a new Frisbee season and a new FrisbeeTeam.
